How are you feeling?
Panic
Panic attacks can feel overwhelming and uncontrollable, and be extremely scary for those experiencing them. During a panic attack you experience an intense rush of mental and physical symptoms- sometimes leading people to fear that they may be having a heart attack, be about to pass out or lose control, or even that they might die. However these concerns often make the panic attack worse. Panic attacks can also cause people to feel a sense of detachment from their surroundings.
Physical symptoms of a panic attack can include:
a sensation that your heart is beating irregularly
sweating
trembling
shortness of breath
a choking sensation
chest pain
tingling or numbness in your limbs or face
ringing in your ears
feeling nauseated
