Courses are held on Microsoft Teams, and immediately below is a video explaining more about courses. This is followed by a list of all of our course materials - you are welcome to review and download any of these at any time, if you wish.

ACT ( Acceptance and Commitment Therapy)

This course helps people to manage the symptoms of anxiety and depression within the context of living with a long term health condition.

Bereavement course

This course will help you to understand the grief process and how to cope feelings of loss.

Confidence and Communication Course

This is a therapeutic group which uses NICE approved therapeutic interventions to help us understand some of the patterns that may be impacting on how we feel about ourselves and how we communicate. We will learn to develop tools to draw on within ourselves to build our confidence and practice assertiveness.

Emotional coping and life skills group

This course covers emotional awareness and how to regulate your emotions and cope with stress. It also covers good communications and life skills.

Health anxiety

This course covers the definition of health anxiety and how to manage it using techniques in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).

IBS self-management

This webinar course aims to increase understanding of anxiety and depression in the relation to irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). The webinar focuses on developing self-help management using the principles of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).

Lifting your mood

This course covers symptoms of depression and low mood and how to change unhelpful thoughts, feelings and behaviours using the principles of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).

Living through life events

This course will help you to understand the emotional impact of life events and how to process feelings of grief, depression and change.

Living with long-term conditions

This course covers cognitive behaviour therapy-based techniques to help you manage feelings and thoughts around living with a long-term health condition.

Managing anxiety

This course covers building knowledge and skills to reduce and manage anxiety using aspects of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. This course will help you with practical things you can do to notice and change unhelpful thoughts, feelings, and behaviours.

Managing low mood

This course can help you learn ways to manage feeling down using the principles of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Behavioural Activation (BA). You will learn how to take small, practical steps to feeling better and enjoying life.

This course covers managing symptoms of panic using the principles of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).

Managing stress

This course covers how to recognise stress and understand how it affects us, as well as techniques on how to cope with and manage stress.

Mindfulness for Depression and Relapse Prevention

This course covers mindfulness and cognitive behavioural therapy-based techniques for reducing the symptoms of anxiety and depression.

Mindfulness for Stress

This course covers mindfulness-based techniques for reducing stress.

Mum's Matter

This course focuses on overcoming the emotional challenges of parenthood using the principles of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy.

New horizons counselling course for depression

New Horizons Counselling Course for Depression

This course builds awareness of how depression can impact your life and provides innovative ways to help combat and reduce symptoms of depression.

Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

This course focuses on symptoms of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) such as intrusive thoughts, repeating tasks and fear of contamination using the principles of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy.

This course focuses on overcoming post-natal depression using the principles of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). This is an 8-week course for anyone who has a child under two years old.
